Great access to Muckle Roe, must see destination; lovely home cooking with farm fresh ingrediends (the lamb is a must); generous size, renovated room with modern bathroom; reliable regular bus service to other places in Shetland for those with backpacks, the isolation from town is a bonus, so relaxing; helpful and friendly service

A nice clean hotel situated on the waterside.
A nice clean hotel situated on the waterside. Very good staff who operated well under covid restrictions. The food was good and we enjoyed all our meals. Not gourmet food but good. Excellent selection of whiskies to try and a well balanced wine list.

I liked the location of the hotel and the staff were all very helpful and friendly.
The hotel had just had new boilers fitted so it was very warm and stifling in the bedroom.
The dining room could benefit from more lighting as it was quite dark

This hotel is a must stay in Shetland. So much history, beautiful views, comfortable rooms and super staff.
The food and service is top class. Breakfast and evening meals amazing. Lovely toiletries in bathrooms.plenty tea and coffee. The bar is small and mightie loads to choose from, including a vast selection of whisky. Had a few in the evenings. Lush.

Great hotel in great setting, the beds weren't the most comfortable and it's a bit tired in places, but the food is very tasty and generous, staff are friendly and knowledgeable about locally sourced food and drink. I wouldn't hesitate at booking this hotel again if visiting Shetland.

Very quiet and comfortable hotel. The bed was very comfortable. It is a very well
