We loved our stay! The house is spotless—brand new and beautifully equipped with everything a family could possibly need, turning it into a true home away from home. Although we ran into some issues with the reservation and the ferries, the hostess was incredibly attentive and helped us tremendously, which we deeply appreciate since we were traveling with children. Thanks to her support, we were able to sort everything out and fully enjoy our time on the island. Highly recommended!

We had a great time. If you want the simple life for a few days without any distrachtion, this is the right place. Yet we had everything we really needed. We enjoyed the fascinating nature, the landscape and the view of the sea every morning. Our hosts John and Jackie are friendly and uncomplicated. We will probably come again.

    Brue is in a great location to explore Lewis - on the main road between the Butt of Lewis and Callanish, plus a quick drive across the island to Stornoway. It is next to Barvas Loch and the coast so there is great scenery and birdlife around the area. You can do good walks from your front door.
