Very friendly owner who makes you feel really welcome from the moment you arrive. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and fresh. Room was modern but kept the charm of the old building. Probably the biggest bed I've ever slept in and very comfortable. Breakfast was all locally sourced food and was delicious. The wifi was excellent and had somewhere to charge phones both sides of the bed. Accommodation is only a 5 minute walk into the centre.

Staff very friendly. Good food. Big clean rooms. Although near it passes a train and crossing the road from the rooms you won't hear it. Big parking. In the parking there's also 2 parking spaces to charge electric cars.

A gorgeous and quiet stay above the pub. Delicious dinner and breakfast, a short walk to the beach and grassy coastal footpaths. The staff were super friendly and the room was very cosy. Loved the location- we visited Lulworth and Weymouth and stayed here just one night. The perfect getaway!

    We did not get a chance to see the village but it was easy...

    We did not get a chance to see the village but it was easy access to both Weymouth and Dorchester which are two really lovely places. We stayed in Broadmayne overnight as halfway to our holiday in Cornwall. It turned out to be excellent choice exactly half way.

    The pubs were very friendly an served good food, they had local walks but we wanted to do the Golden Cap which was lovely, Stoke Abbot was another which needed more signs, as we took a long way round, it was a circular walk from a pub called The New Inn , we had lunch there after which was an old but again lovely people an dog accepting .

    Friendly, helpful and courteous staff. Large, comfortable room, with good ceiling height and very large and comfortable bed. Good sized bathroom with large shower cubicle - no elbow bashing here! Particularly excellent for tall people. Plentiful hot water. Excellent breakfasts included in the price. On-site parking. Quiet location. Convenient for visiting the Dorset region.

    Hosts were excellent, there if needed, but did not interfere in any way. A truly lovely setting, well located for all Dorset has to offer, but you could easily stay and relax on site in peace and tranquillity. Thoughtful welcome basket and "mini bar" a nice touch. A gem of a place, highly recommend.
