The property was very clean, perfect location for anyone visiting Alton towers, very comfy beds, lovely village, quiet, it had all of the appliances and supplies we needed for travelling with our baby, modern but also a nice homey cottage atmosphere. Abbey was so helpful and attentive without being intrusive. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation was spacious, spotless and well looked after. The pub across the road was really convenient and nearby Cheadle was a lovely place to wander around and grab food. Highly recommended. A great place to stay to access this part of the Peak District.

It's a lovely studio apartment, very clean and light. The bed is comfortable, the little kitchen has all the crockery and pans you need for a holiday and the two-ring electric hob warms up quickly. And it has underfloor heating, which was a joy to come 'home' to after a day out in January! The location is fantastic, with really stunning views. It snowed almost every day we were there, which was beautiful to wake up to. The roads are gritted, so we didn't even have too much trouble getting around despite the snow and ice, although there was one evening when we parked over the road instead of on site, because our Aygo with summer tyres couldn't get up the frozen cobbled drive. There are two pubs and a children's playground very close to the flat, and it's a great area for walks. You're also only 15 minutes or so from Cheadle in one direction and it's just a bit longer to get to the city. We had a wonderful stay.
