Upon arrival we were immediately swept away by the pittoresque aesthetic of the building. The staff, in all different area of the hotel were extremely polite, friendly and professional. I can imagine it is a very nice place to work! The hotel has a history with bad boy DuVall but what most visitors do not know is the legend of 'The Midnight Stapler"... Strongly recommend to ask about this myth and let it leave you in awe.

Fantastic hotel. From the moment we arrived until the time we checked out, every aspect of my stay was absolutely outstanding. First and foremost, the staff members were truly the highlight of our visit. Their warm and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome and cared for throughout our stay. The hotel itself was nothing short of excellent. The rooms were impeccably clean and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and cozy ambiance. The amenities provided exceeded our expectations. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Throughout my stay, I encountered no issues or inconveniences, thanks to the exceptional service and efficiency of the staff. They were readily available to answer any questions. One of the standout features of this hotel was its charming eating area – warm and inviting atmosphere. The tasteful decor, comfortable seating, and pleasant ambiance created the perfect setting for enjoying a delicious meal. The staff in the restaurant were attentive, friendly, and provided exceptional service, making each dining experience a true delight. The culinary delights offered at the hotel's restaurant were simply exquisite. The menu featured a wide array of delectable dishes, expertly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. From breakfast to dinner, each meal was a gastronomic journey filled with delightful flavors and impeccable presentation. Conveniently location right in the centre of town, this hotel was easy to find and ample parking at the back and front for those with a blue badge. A lot larger than it appears the building is older, but it really adds to its charm. There is also a pleasant garden behind the building. We stayed in the front of the building, the room was incredibly spacious, clean, well maintained, beautifully furnished and the quality of the bedding was the best I'd experienced in a hotel in quite some time. Bathroom appeared to be recently renovated and equipped with everything you need. Staff were friendly and helpful, above average standard of service. This hotel is a great for holiday makers, special occasions or just anyone who would prefer to stay somewhere stylish, comfortable and cosy on business or in transit.

A lovely hotel in beautiful location. The staff were wonderful ; from reception staff to bar/restaurant staff. My room was gorgeous. It had a lounge area and a wonderful, large, comfortable bed. There was an old fireplace and beams. Tea/coffee facilities plus some water, juice and fruit. Breakfast was great. Continental or a lovely hot selection from a menu.

    its a great great place and very centrally located to GREAT places. Of note Cotswolds, Many villages around such as Hook Norton Bloxham is nice airy place you can walk around.. lots of pubs- the red lion is highly recommended
