Bedford is steeped in history and has a cultural vibe. Plenty to do and see in Bedford and surrounding areas. Well known for the iconic landmarks of the Cardington Hangers which stands out for miles. Bedford farming/small village town in the day with major brands in the city Centre and personality Unfortunately the High Street is now almost dead but just cheap secondhand charity shops nail shops and cheap low spec food shops the town centre self chaperone by the beehive shopping Centre that should be really closed down adjacent streets near the old police station bulldozed as they’re always generally full of drunks Waves and strays.
