No breakfast availability, although food was very nice in the restaurant in the evening. Not as clean as I had hoped - some stains on furniture where liquid had been spilt, windows and frames very dirty. I arrived at the Lodge at 8pm after a long tiring day, I had a nice warm shower, watch Tv for about an hour and went to sleep, in the morning it was another rush back to work. I wouldn’t stay at The Lodge in Barnby Dun ever again, we booked this because it was closest to the racecourse but were bitterly disappointed with the accommodation. It was very dated and quite run down. Stained sheets, cracks in the walls, dents and holes in walls, foist smelling and grubby waste bin, broken and mouldy blinds up at the windows, old and ragged furniture, mould on mattress which seeped through to bed linen, dirty laundry piled up along the corridor so had to squeeze past to get in and out of room.
