The pool was first class.only thing was I would have liked a water dispenser. Our room was large and airy and clean. It's in a great location i would have ate in Hotel but we like to spread our custom around to local businesses as it would be a dull area without them which helps the hotel as well

We have been to Scotland quite a few times. If you are looking for something special, this is the right place to go to!!! Having breakfast with a gorgeous Mountain View. The bedroom in the villa, the glamping cod and the cottage are just perfect, the owners really put their heart into it. After hearing what else they have planned for the next years, we are already excited to come back here! :)

Our most comfy stay during our roadtrip through Scotland. Wish we stayed longer. The hotel is located in a little town in a great hiking area. The room was very spacious and refurbished well with a lovely bathroom. Beds are super comfy, great after a long day of hiking in the area. In the morning we had a nice breakfast to start the day. Also the hostess was super friendly and helpful. She made us feel really welcome.

    Breakfast was what we needed. Cereal and toast. No cooked breakfast as really self catering. Balfron is a small place but we were out most days so only needed sandwiches and there were a couple of small supermarkets so no problems.
