The best place I stayed in Scotland. Historic countryside house near the Cairngorns with charm and personality and a beautiful garden. Incredible story of the family who owned the place, in particular Lady MacRoberts and her connection to the RAF, which guests can see and feel in the main house. Excellent dinner and breakfast in the Conservatorium (I didn't try the Library dinner, but I guess it is a remarkable experience). Lovely bar, very professional and friendly staff.

First and foremost, the hosts. Les and John makes you feel so welcome from the second you enter the door. You almost dont feel like you are guests there, more like friends coming over to chat and have dinner. They sits down to eat with you, and are full of historys, jokes and good conversations. Even Alexa tries to join, but she is not a good listener 😀. Nice food, homemade drinks, music and nice people. You will love to be here.

When we arrived it was more like coming home than arriving in a holiday home. The cottage is good equipped and was very clean. On top the host was always reachable and very kind. We would definitely book again!
