Home to home setting with much more comfortable bed! 😉 We loved the breakfast! Bit of an everything.. The location is perfect, the beach is just down the road, one of the evening just popped down to watch the sunset. The host Jen and Simon were fantastic! Very friendly. The place is clean, the bathroom was huge with fantastic decoration. When I booked The Clubhouse for some reason I thought there were a double and 2 single beds in the suit, but when we got there there was 2 double beds.. We are a family of 4, and our 2 kids got used to sleep in separate beds.. When I asked for an extra matress my hosts were amazing and they gave us an extra matress for no extra charge!! That way all nights were great. 2 of my children have been asking me when are we going to return… I am sure we will.

Our stay in 1645 Inn was the best in our whole Scottland trip in April :) the owners are wonderfully nice people, the food in the Pub and the breakfast in the bistro are delicious. It was such a shame that we only stayed one night! A big thank you for such a warm welcome and the talks and spontaneous whiskey tastings in the bar 🥃 We will never forget your hospitality and will definitely come back if you ever are in Scotland again! Central location: excellent for beaches and shops. Dinner menu excellent; recommend the venison or the duck. Breakfast very good: waited on at table with a great choice of food; such a nice change to buffet style breakfasts. Again food excellent. Lively bar with plenty of music. Our room had a lovely sea view and was quite a distance from the bar beyond a heavy fire door; so no disturbance with loud music. Hot water piping hot for showers. Plenty of tea/coffee provided in room.

The B&B and the owner deserve much more than 10 out of 10. Everything was clean and with a delicate fragrance. The room was equipped with everything anyone can desire. The marvellous host spoiled us with tasty homemade breakfast and her kindness which delighted our stay. The negative aspect? We wish we had stayed there many more days. Thank you. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
