Very clean bedsheet, room and bathroom. Basin is with mixer tap👍 Very helpful and friendly staff members, all of them whom I came across served with smiles. Good range of tea selection in the room, including a few types of non-caffeinated tea. Breakfast was good, generous portion, well cooked, reasonable spread of fruit, bread and cold cuts. We had dinner in the Inn too. Food was delicious. On site free parking, easy to park.

My wife liked it because the bedroom was hot. It was like an oven. We could have turned the radiator off, but in winter it was nice to not be cold. Staff were great.

Deb, the host, is one of the nicest hosts we ever had. She was utterly friendly, helpful, nice and the breakfast she made for us was to die for! We felt like we were in a 5* hotel and at the same time at a cozy cottage with a family member. Country chic and charme describes the location best. You sleep in absolute silence and wake up to the sound of birds chirping. There is no traffic, the only thing crossing our way while walking to the local pub was a deer! It's also closely located to touristic attractions such as Stonehenge and Stourhead. Bear, Deb's dog, was the cherry on the cake to our stay!

The room was immaculate. It is small so would be cosy for a couple but certainly perfect as a solo traveller. I couldn’t fault Jess and Steve who offered a really warm welcome and were happy to help with any queries throughout my stay. The local pub, The Royal Oak, is only a 5 minute walk away and a great place for drinks or food as you need.

    Peaceful village off the main road.

    Peaceful village off the main road. Lovely inn, great food, excellent interior with lots of top quality light oak wooden beams, recently updated. Very comfortable bedroom and en suite shower room. Wonderful place to relax and enjoy.
