Excellent motel with a lovely atmosphere. Relaxing vibes also in the lounge area beside the reception. The room felt newly-renovated and was fully equipped with more than just the basics. Comfortable bed and above all excellent bathroom. The staff was super kind and friendly. I would definitely recommend this place.

Amazing stay, we came here after Glastonbury and the experience couldn't have been better - we were upgraded for free and were allowed to check in early. You can order delivery food in the evening and the breakfast was brought to our room for a small charge in the morning. Beautifully decorated rooms and lovely, friendly staff.

Beautiful from start to finish, the staff were so helpful and friendly haven’t got a bad word to say about the place, the spa was lovely and open early till late, our room was more than spacious beautiful all over. Very nice hotel, recently renovated. Good value, good hot/cold breakfast. Nice touch with the water/cofee/snacks left for us in the room. Nice pool with sauna. Parking was in front of the hotel , only 5$/day. Highly recommended if you are visiting Bristol and have a car.

Almondsbury Village is an attractive village with a pub and community shop. The Swan Hotel up the hill, on the by pass road (A38), does good meals. There is a lay by to see the views over the Severn estuary and both bridges from the top of the hill leading down to the village. If you are staying in the hotels on the bypass it's a challenging walk both to cross the dual carriageway and walk up and down the steep hill down to the village.

Bedrooms not to standards for price paid, many faults. Restaurant too expensive and limited menu. My 1st week stay was only made better by upgrading from a tiny room to deluxe, which was appreciated. Bathrooms cannot have tiled floors due to possible slipping, must change to safety flooring. My 2nd week, the bedroom had no heating and was given a small noisy heater, even the bathroom radiator was not wired up to mains, not good for £385.00.

Rooms are clean, restaurant had plenty of tables. Parking available. Rooms are on the small saide an it wasn't cleaned during our stay. Breakfast ran out of food on one morning, No food available later in the evenings. I woudl stay again because the price was ok and the location is good for me.

Fantastic place to eat, with options to suit most people. Decor was pleasing, with a warm relaxed atmosphere throughout the property. Staff were friendly attentive, but not imposing and helpful. Great place to stay.

Dreadful link to the local taxi service.

Dreadful link to the local taxi service. The one booked never showed up so I had to drive to central Bristol and pick my car up in the morning. Ruined the timing for the following day. No matter that the hotel does not control the taxi service, they MUST get a reliable link. Cannot afford to risk the same thing again so am forced to go elsewhere. Pity.

The small village is a great place to stay.

The small village is a great place to stay. There’s a real community vibe to the village. A community shop staffed by volunteers provides a decently priced and wide array of products. The church is lovely. On a couple of occasions I needed information and locals went to great lengths to assist me. The bell ringing practice on Monday night was unexpected, but that shows the level of community involvement. That was the only noise I heard apart from usual pub interactions which weren’t too bad.

Lovely inn set in a quiet area. Great location for exploring Bristol and the Wye Valley/Forest of Dean. Staff were very friendly and accommodating of our requests. Before our visit, the inn staff were able to reserve the ground floor double room for my elderly parents. Food at the pub was excellent both at dinnertime and at breakfast. Rooms were comfortable and nicely decorated, and had good tea and coffee making facilities. The pub also has EV charging facilities (we did not need it this time).

The room was exceptionally clean and quiet. Breakfast was not included but a short walk to an adjoining hotel was easy and the breakfast there was extremely good value. We had a meal at the Swan and the food was great and quite inexpensive. A very handy place to stay.

Needed a base for 5 days to get into Bristol. Perfect location, lovely views. We ate in the pub once, which was lovely. We also went to the cinema 5 mins drive away. Great accommodation, clean and tidy would stay again.
