Limited parking means the glorious sandy beaches never get that crowded. The sea is also relatively shallow making it safe for youngsters while the beach sand is perfect for building magnificent castles. There are just enough eating out options but having no night life means the town is really quiet after 9 o'clock and super safe for families. And everybody there - residents and visitors alike - were happy and friendly.

Aberporth beach is fab - activities (paddleboard, kayak, canoe) for those who wish to partake or just have a dip/swim. The Ship Inn served delicious food with plenty of seating inside and some seating outside. There is also a chippy. The walk along the coastal path to Tresaith beach has breath-taking views - it's only 1.1 miles from Aberporth and about 2/3rds of the path is wheelchair accessible, the last bit to Tresaith beach is rocky and steep. Great for walkers but not wheelchairs/pushchairs.

Pretty small coastal village. Plenty of footpaths

Pretty small coastal village. Plenty of footpaths 2 sandy beaches, dogs allowed all year on 1. Good walking on coastal path , including areas suitable for disability scooters. Visited in late winter, eating opportunities not great but evidence of many additional cafes open in summer months

Lovely area to stay, wish we could have been there longer.

Lovely area to stay, wish we could have been there longer. Also visited Cardigan, Aberaeron and New Quay all of which was beautiful. We went out of season so most places were quite quiet even though it was a weekend. Mwnt was our favourite place. Beautiful quiet cove, fantastic coastal walk and 15th Century church. The top of Mwnt gives amazing views not to be missed.

The property is a historic country house with beautiful rooms and grounds. A stunning sea view can be seen from the hotel and grounds. The evening meal and breakfast were delicious and both menus offered a good variety to choose from. The owner was especially kind and helpful when we explained that we had a car problem and assured us that we could have a table for the evening meal and could stay another night if we needed to. We will definitely return when we are in a less stressful situation! All the staff were friendly, helpful and polite.

Location was great, overlooking the beach and on the quiet side of Aberporth. Good shop just up the road which was small but well-stocked, a good cafe just below the property and pub and fish & chips in the village too. The appartment was comfortable and surprisingly spacious, with a very good shower and the decking area was a real bonus. We were worried about the parking, but were always able to find somewhere nearby, and it was great to have the cafe so close to us! We'll definitely return here, it had everything we needed.
