I was only there three days on business and didn't get much time to look around which is a shame as I think Aberdeen has a lot to see and a lot of history. I was looking for a good restaurant but all I seemed to find in the town was fast food and takeaways. What did stand out was the cleanliness of the place, no litter and rubbish on the streets. Some lovely old buildings, fun to watch the busy port right in the middle of town. Interesting view of oil rigs a couple of miles off the coast. It would certainly have repaid a longer stay. I t was a 1 night stay as we were getting the ferry to...
I t was a 1 night stay as we were getting the ferry to Orkney the following day. Decent entertainment complex amusements, crazy golf, bowling etc plus eateries right on the seafront. We did walk to the end of the beach and had a wander round the quirky fishing village of Footdee.
