This was a wonderful place to stay with a comfortable room with everything you could want. A lot of thought had gone into providing a very high standard of extras, such as fresh milk and having hot chocolate available if desired. Full English breakfast was superb and very filling! Orange juice and tea also available, with top-ups if required. Cereals also offered, but declined as our cooked breakfast was more than sufficient. The accommodation was much better than expected: bedroom large, comfortable bed, shower room modern and clean. We also made use of the very large lounge area, with its comfortable seating and TV. Dining area had lovely rural views. The owners made us feel very welcome, so much so that we hope to go back!

My family and I had the best stay at Old Chapel Llanfrynach. It’s beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. Gareth the host kept in touch throughout our stay and was friendly, helpful and welcoming. We had cosy nights in with the log burner and blankets and enjoyed the gorgeous views from the bedrooms in the morning. It’s in a great location for exploring the nearby mountains and trails. It was easy to park, dog friendly, perfect for our young kids, plus a great price. Highly recommended

Quiet, peaceful, cosy place to stay, very clean and tidy. Great to act as a station to explore Beacons Brecon area. Bus T4 from Merthyr Tydfil Bus Station will take you directly to the hostel in 20 minutes. Please refer to Stagecoach website and check the bus time, the service runs between Brecon and it's very reliable. Awesome place, fantastic people, wonderful nature. Would love to try the pod for the next stay!
