Comfortable place with really good food. Bed was super. Khrystyna was an excellent host and even had breakfast ready earlier for me, so I could catch a bus; I was late for the breakfast so 0/10 for me, 10/10 for Le Freudeneck!

We spent a wonderful evening at l'hippocampe. Corrine and Didier were wonderful hosts and they have a beautiful and tranquil home. We arrived wet after hiking in the rain. They brought our hiking clothes to the basement to dry and offered us fresh coffee and cake! Dinner was delicious and we had an enjoyable chat afterwards.

the bed was very comfortable the room had a bath tube and nothing is better than a hot bath after a full day of traveling the location is very good, in the heart of that little city, relatively close to Strasbourg by car

We arrived later than offical check-in time and had to leave very early. The staff was very flexible and made sure we could enter/leave the hotel. The room had a lot of space. Hotel was very quiet (it was monday), so we had a good night of sleep. :) And, the price was good too!

    The hotel room was clean and we had all we needed. The woman checking us in was very friendly and she could speak English, which was very helpful since we don't speak French very well (and in some French hotels, they don't speak English...). We had diner in the restaurant which was exceptionally good food.

    Such a well run hotel - high quality spacious rooms, superb breakfast- evening meal was amazing but the most impressive thing was all the staff were so friendly and helpful- an excellent place to stay Great location in a quiet but very pretty and interesting village

    Stopped off on our drive back from Italy. A rustic lodge type hotel with beautiful forrest and surrounding hills. Quiet, great value and a superb restaurant. Lovely view from our balcony. Will definitely stay again when travelling through Europe.
