I had a pleasure of staying in Casa Dei Cento Scalini last week. It was a beautiful experience. The house is in the perfect location right between the beach and the village. The view is spectacular ! The hostess lady / owner was very welcoming indeed and had drinks and tapas ready for us which was a lovely classy and warm welcoming . It certainly put you in the right mood to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of Panarea . We had everthing we needed .

What I do love in trips is communicating with people. And I enjoyed it so much while chatting with guys. They invested a lot of time and love in their home and it was a truly comfortable stay. Breakfasts let me feel full during all day:) The place is perfect spot to explore Normandy.

Epicurieux Normand, set in beautiful countryside is the finest b&b we have ever visited both home and abroad. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything you needed whether for an overnight stay or a few days as we did. Pascal, the host, obviously loves what he is doing as everything was perfect. He enjoys cooking for his guests and we had wonderful meals, freshly cooked, every evening accompanied by his vast knowledge of wines. And the breakfasts included freshly squeezed juices and homemade jams. Pascal and his lovely wife will give you a warm welcome and I thoroughly recommend a stay with them. We were sad to leave but will be back.

Nadine our host lovely lady the owner or the chalet takes pride in cleanliness and very well equipped including games for all generations. The swimming pool is a big plus especially being heated and partially covered, there is crazy golf,table tennis and a boules pitch .A perfect place to relax and enjoy scenery.

Not my first time and it's always a lovely place to stay. Sally and Andy are always very welcoming. You can not ask for any more equipment in the kitchen. The lounge is very comfortable. The bedrooms are always lovely and clean and the bed is very comfortable. Close to local facilities and I will definitely be back again.

We had the most wonderful stay at this charming home in the serene Normandy countryside. Sallyanne and Andy, the hosts, were truly the loveliest people we’ve ever met, welcoming us with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The home itself was a delightful haven, thoughtfully furnished with an array of things to use and activities to do. From cozy sofas and board games to their well-equipped kitchen and bathroom, every detail was considered. For us British folks there was even British television! The hosts even took the time to give us a guided tour, making us feel like cherished friends, and also took the time out to see us leave. The value offered by this remarkable home is unparalleled – a treasure trove of comfort, warmth, and genuine care. Cannot recommend enough and we will definitely stay here again if we are in the area! Bonne chance à Sallyanne et Andy.

Vire is surprisingly beautiful little town.

Vire is surprisingly beautiful little town. It is rather busy for 17.5k population. Lovely walks, Theatre, water centre. Very happy me. I mean if you get it on your way - it will surprise you in a good way. For dinner 100% go to Hotel de France - you get a high end experience for the local prices and nice quite atmosphere.

Vire is a town that goes about its business and does not...

Vire is a town that goes about its business and does not really see itself as a tourist hub. They do have a friendly tourist office but there is not a lot they can promote. We walked round the town and admired the floral decorations and the bits of the old walls that still exist. The museum was shut. There are several good restaurants and in the vicinity there are some lovely small towns and the Lac de la Dathée which is a 6.1km walk round which we enjoyed. We drove to Chateau de Pontécoulant which was advertised as being open but when we arrived at 11 am there was a notice saying the next tour was 14:30 and so we walked in the grounds, most of which were fenced off!

We received a lovely welcome. Situated in the beautiful Normandie countryside. There were plenty of eating places in the town of Vire. The bedroom was lovely despite the length of the bed which was difficult for my very tall husband. The stairs were narrow so we had help to carry our suitcase. Breakfast was tasteful with homemade touches.

Really friendly staff and excellent dinner. We were cycling with a group of 5 and were very helpful in advising on route planning, food locations etc. great secure location for bikes in the garage. The hotel is a short walking distance into the town square where there are some nice places to eat and drink.
