Troyes has a huge number of half timbered houses, often tilting and pressing on each other. The centre has an amazing array of restaurants and in summer the diners are mostly out on the pedestrianised streets. What a wonderful and gracious host. The apartment is beautiful with wonderful art. We were cared for really well and it was just the stay we needed after a few days hotel hopping back up to Calais. Troyes is well worth the stop with great history and architecture as well as an exciting art scene. I wish we had, had time to stay longer. We shall next time.
