It is close to the centre of the town and the port. Fine comfortable amenity with trainee staff very concerned to be efficient and welcoming. Restaurant dinning on site requires much advance booking as it is excellent and remarkable inexpensive. If booked out there is plenty of choice in many restaurants in town or port.

The room was great! Spacious and very clean. Staff were brilliant, when we asked about where we could find somewhere to eat they kindly reserved a table in the restaurant nextdoor for us. The hotel buffet breakfast had a great selection and was well worth it.

Nice lake front with port/marina.

Nice lake front with port/marina. There's a steep climb up to the town from the water with a funicular railway (summer only?). Lots of places to eat plus takeaways and supermarket in easy walking distance of town centre.

The unit is in a quiet nice neighborhood and a short walk to the main city commercial area. The main commercial area was fine but not really a tourist attraction. The castle self-tour was great. Walking the lakeside was nice. There is a good variety of restaurants. We took a couple of day drives to sights like the village of Abondance and the Cirque-du-Cheval and to Annecy (which was VERY busy and touristy, unlike Thonon.

Beautiful small town, excellent cafès and small restaurants, especially down the harbour in the summer, nice place for shopping and relaxing. I also always get natural mineral water from the mineral water spring. The Christmas Market I saw yesterday - it's so cute and absolutely amazing! There are regular ships to/from Lausanne-Ouchy (Switzerland) which adds up to the nice experience. I visit few times per year to relax & do some shopping and absolutely enjoy every single visit 👍

A beautiful location on the south bank of Lake Geneva.

A beautiful location on the south bank of Lake Geneva. The town has a ‘municipal plage’ where you can swim in the lake or pools. A good base for exploring Western Switzerland and The Italian Alps. It’s easy to walk or drive around Thonon Les Bains. There’s also a funicular to transport you up the hill from the lake to the town centre.

We picked this hotel as it was near Evian les Bains as we were in the location to watch the golf completion at the Evian Resort. The location for us was perfect. This Ibis Styles is what I would say - quirky but would use it again without a doubt when we next visit the area. The breakfast available was very good , staff great helpful and polite. The attached restaurant provided a good meal although , the menu could be a little more wide ranging but that said our meals were just what we wanted.

Everything in the hotel is thought through to the minor detail. Beds were comfortable, whatever one may need was in the room. Most importantly, sound isolation is perfectly done, so there is no noise from the outside and inside of the hotel. Want to express special thanks to Pauline at the reception desk. She was helpful and friendly, and responded immediately to all our requests, which made our stay even more pleasant.
