I arrived in the evening just in time for a delicious home-prepared meal of four courses. I was travelling on my own but all the guests were seated together and we shared stories. Really excellent value for money. In the morning we met again for a generous breakfast of fresh croissants and breads. The host was chatty and welcoming. Nice views over the valley. I slept in the dorm room, which was clean with comfortable beds and a shared bathroom/shower room.

Violetta is really great person, she gave us really warm welcome. she was kind and attentive. It is a new house that they renovate by themselves. House place in quite village so if you are looking place for good sleep it is that place. Breakfast was good, room is really big. Huge plus for us was kitchen we cocked diner by ourself and big fridge. definitely recommend this place if I be in this region again, I will visit Violetta house again.

Cannot rate this place enough! Laura and Marco were fabulous hosts, the room was spacious and the bed was super comfy too. The bathroom was huge and the shower was really powerful. Loved our stay here and highly recommend. There is nothing to fault at all. Laura went above and beyond helping us try to source a rental bike locally too and the food was delicious

Cologny is a mountain hamlet near Seyssel, a 5-minute drive away. A car is required, but it's definitely worth it if you're looking for nature and tranquility. The house is fully furnished and cozy. The owner is friendly and responsive. There's plenty to do in the surrounding area to fill a whole week if you want.

Don't go on Tuesdays, everything is closed.

Don't go on Tuesdays, everything is closed. We wanted to have a drink at a bar but they didn't take credit cards, same for takeaway pizza! A city where you don't feel safe. It's a shame because the bridge is pretty; plan to cross it but don't stop.

A very beautiful and lively town with a friendly welcome,...

A very beautiful and lively town with a friendly welcome, offering plenty of activities for all ages. Aqualoisir with its excellent canoeing is great. Christophe Bourgeois Bakery is highly recommended – a wide selection of delicious food at affordable prices considering the quality. It's best to get around on foot rather than by car.
