Lou Trelus is the perfect place to stay if you are visiting Saint tropez. the clean spacey rooms, the view, heated pool, nature view. The owner is very kind and sweet, Mme Viviane made this place a piece of heaven in the south of France.

It’s a unique oasis.. beautiful historic chalet on gorgeous garden grounds, with beautiful views on a small hilltop. Tranquil setting just a stone’s throw from the town centre. Lovely staff especially waitressses at the restaurant. The included breakfast has an excellent selection! I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Everything was great, location was very close to the center and the beach, hosts are very kind and friendly. The whole hotel is well maintained and clean. Breakfast was fantastic and pool area very relaxing. It was very quiet during the night so we enjoyed a good night sleep. We also received a recommendation for a brasserie called ´Entrepotes Brasserie´ and the customer service and food was fantastic. Thank you for the stay!

    It's simply wonderful.

    It's simply wonderful. The town is just the right size, not too big yet not too small. All the facilities are within walking distance. There are lots of bars, reataurants and shops, including supermarkets. The beach is great, too. It's not overcrowded. The prices in some eatieries might seem too high, but it's possible to find some affordable places.

    A lovely size Town with Beach and Marina and good size shopping area. Plenty Restaurants and Cafes.Good Ferries to St Tropez and Grimaud. Bus services to Frejus and St tropez.Markets every week.A very nice place for holidays.

    Quite little place.

    Quite little place. Lovely people, cute farmers corner in the center of town, fresh fish market at the dock. Lovely restaurants. Prao beach is the best. The price for whole day (lunch, drinks and sun beads) for family of 3 is 200-250 euros. Other beaches have similar prices but not close enough service, food and architecture.

    We stayed as a jumping off point to other attractions - St. Tropez most of all, which we visited twice. We enjoyed the beach walk at St. max, but it was a bit too heavily touristed in many places for our liking.

    Sainte Maxime, having been there many times, actually puts Sainte Tropez in the shadows (ofcourse you can get Le Bateau Vert to St. Tropez from the port for a daily excursion). The port area and street scene on the main route through are just stunning. The cafes are well serviced and the price is not prohibitive. The atmosphere is that of fun with relaxation and a stress free environment. Busy but does not feel overcrowded. The little white train is a must for history buffs, plus its just an enjoyable way to see around the place. Never visited a bad restaurant yet and would suggest La Maison Bleu, Cafe Maxime, The Peanut Cafe (vegan and vegetarian) but to be fair they are all excellent. Stay at either the Little Prince Hotel or one of the Best Western Premier Montfleuri / Matisse and you will not be disappointed. Fantastic golf club also for those budding Rorys. Put it on your bucket list, you will be glad you did.

    Low-key riviera resort, lots of bar and restaurants, very lively during the summer months. Nice beaches nearby at a decent price for the location. Good location for a riviera holiday and foe visiting St Tropez, ferry to St Tropez takes only 20 minutes.

    This is how a boutique hotel has to be. We came in the night, everything was prepared, the owner, Virginie, herself was in charge and gave us a relaxed feeling of being welcome and perfectly prepared. The breakfast in the garden, the sea view and the location in the middle of the old town. Everything fitted. Also the parking space. It was all perfect and without stress. We were with a small puppy dog and also that was handled in a warm and welcome way. Till the next time!

    The location was superb, 100m to the beach and Sainte-Maxime was relatively traffic free unlike St Tropez. There is not much else around the beach though. The room was comfortable enough but I feel that if the owners spent a little money renovating it could be superb. Our room had a small verandah with a sea view. The dogs were welcome and the hosts cleaned the room daily. An available broom would have been useful and being at the beach, sand got onto the floor.

    I had a great stay at this hotel. The room was large, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The location is excellent - peaceful yet convenient - with the added bonus of free parking. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The whole place is well maintained and felt very relaxing. Would definitely return!

    A lovely hotel set right on the sea with great views across to St Tropez. We enjoyed the pool area it was a nice escape from the hustle and bustle of St Maxime which was only a short walk away. We would recommend the restaurant for dinner.
