Really lovely hotel. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The restaurant has an outdoor terrace so we are outside as it was very warm. The food is excellent, with a good choice of a La crate or some fixed price set menus. We had the “gourmet” menu and it was absolutely delicious. We had never tried for tree ice cream but it was a great palette cleanser and the coffee sabayon dessert was superb. Breakfast was excellent, with a range of options and plenty of choice.

Good food in the restaurant.

Good food in the restaurant. Negatives: Small, outdated room without a proper bathroom. The sink was too small, there was no place to sit properly on the toilet, and the shower tray had a curtain. No insulation, so every sound was audible. The pool was empty, and the hotel was a mess due to unannounced renovations. The hallway to the rooms was dark, and the lights went out halfway through.

The food was excellent and the price was good. The room was absolutely filthy, with an old ball found under the bed. The bathroom was filthy, with soap residue on the walls and hair on the floor. In other words, I skipped showering.

An ideal stopover on the way to or from the South of France. Delicious food, comfortable beds, and the opportunity for a stroll. We used it to cut our 12-hour drive in half, into two 6-hour journeys. Because of the fantastic cuisine, we'll probably do this more often. It's best to reserve a lunch table well in advance – obviously, others have had the same idea…

Well located for a holiday stopover.

Well located for a holiday stopover. Swimming pool open depending on the weather. Quiet and relaxing place. Lovely terrace. Pleasant restaurant with quality cuisine. Fresh produce and very well-balanced dishes. Unexpected flavors. Excellent. Friendly staff.

The hotel is well looked after and not far off the motorway. The pool is clean and refreshing. The room decorations are a bit bland, but for an overnight stay it's all fine and clean. The staff are very helpful. Breakfast good. It's all better than it looks in photos.
