The old property was, we think, a farmhouse.
The old property was, we think, a farmhouse. There was no a/c. 40 decrees day. Night too hot. Many door & windows wouldn't open for ventilation. Bathroom glass door panel was seriously cracked, as was panel on shower wall. Dangerous. Some elec. points old and loose. No tv. but didn't mind. Host, Christine, couldn't have been more helpful. Marjolene and Paul were very kind and offered us a room upgrade where I can cook and the room has gorgeous view of the beautiful Roussillon. Every morning Paul prepared a beautiful breakfast which we always enjoyed. The house is in wonderful location inside the old town and close to very nice restaurants. The apartment is within a secure gated residence of 21 apartments and the proprietor, Maryanne, was there to greet me and show me how all the equipment works. The facilities are super clean and you can comfortably base yourself here for an extended period. All villages are within the 1-1.5 hours drive across a beautiful landscape.
