Our stay at Château Cauderoue was a real delight. The beautiful Renaissance castle has an authentic atmosphere, surrounded by peace and nature. Our room was spacious and high-ceilinged, with elegant cotton bed linen, a light blanket, and a comfortable 160 × 200 cm bed. The bathroom was large and spotless, and we even had an extra sitting room - everything felt well cared for and serene. We were warmly welcomed with a drink on arrival and given a clear explanation and small tour of the château. Carol, the owner (and talented ceramic artist), was incredibly kind and helpful. Despite her limited English and our limited French, we communicated easily and had genuinely pleasant conversations. Her ceramic works, displayed throughout the house, add a beautiful artistic touch - and some pieces are available for purchase. Breakfast was excellent, with eggs cooked to order and fresh brioche instead of croissants. The saltwater pool was still open, even in the late season, and pool towels were thoughtfully provided. We also appreciated the offer to use the refrigerator and the comfortable outdoor seating areas with lovely views and fresh air from the open windows. The Wi-Fi connection worked very well throughout our stay. Merci beaucoup, Carol, pour votre gentillesse, votre hospitalité et votre magnifique maison - un vrai bijou rempli d’art et de charme !

The rooms and bed were comfortable, the bed being large. The location was right next to the river with views of it, and the Cathedral from our window. The hotel had a lift, which was good for us with limited mobility. We took advantage of the private parking, which was behind a locked gate. There was a lovely big garden which would have been good to sit in during the summer months. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring not only Condom, but the interesting surrounding areas.

The hotel is easy to find in a small village with lovely views of a chateau. The hosts are lovely and speak excellent English. The rooms are very spacious, quiet, comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant serves excellent food at a reasonable price and offers plenty of choice. Breakfast is alo very good. We enjoyed a lovely wander around the chateau after dinner

This was a last minute booking and I was a little unsure of it but definitely no need to be!!! The room was very clean. Good white bedding. Breakfast simple but very nice. Staff were friendly and in general an easy going small hotel. Position a very short walk from Condom. Excellent value and I would definitely recommend and will use again on my next visit to meet up with relatives.

Our stay at Château Cauderoue was a real delight. The beautiful Renaissance castle has an authentic atmosphere, surrounded by peace and nature. The bathroom was large and spotless, and we even had an extra sitting room - everything felt well cared for and serene. The rooms and bed were comfortable, the bed being large. The location was right next to the river with views of it, and the Cathedral from our window. The hotel had a lift, which was good for us with limited mobility. We took advantage of the private parking, which was behind a locked gate. There was a lovely big garden which would have been good to sit in during the summer months. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We would recommend this hotel as a good base for exploring not only Condom, but the interesting surrounding areas.
