The jacuzzi on the terrace was a real plus to have in the cold winter after all that walking in town. It's long enough for a couple to stretch their legs completely. We received clementines and cannelé in our room upon arrival too. At first we thought that breakfast was a bit expensive, but it turns out that it really was very copious (we didn't realise you could choose not to check several boxes, so we checked them all...). So just be careful of this if you order in-room breakfast and don't want to waste food! The bread basket is massive!

I asked for the room upgrade due to my boyfriend's birthday and we got it. Thanks so much :) We stayed in a room with a terrace and a castle view, so we did enjoy our day in Carcassone. The town is quite small and the hotel was close to everything (a 15 minutes walking distance to the train station). The room was also ready a bit earlier.
