A wonderful city - so much to see and do. All the more enjoyable if you speak some French - or at least give it a go. The French people appreciate that. Travel by train and underground - excellent services and so comfortable. Parks and gardens are magnificent - so impressively well cared for and an absolute pleasure to walk around. Still the most beautiful city in the world, there is so much to see and do. Notre Dame a must, dinner cruise on the Seine by night, the Louvre, the small streets with the many cafes and restaurants. Everything needed booking beforehand. Museums too crowded. Restored Notre Dame beautiful. You need to be fit to use the metro - few escalators.Nevertheless easy to use, punctual and efficient. Paris is always Paris! It is a destination for work, pleasure, leisure and relax and always promising no matter the weather!
