Very awesome and friendly staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Will go there again. You can take the train from here to Monaco and Niece for like 3 euros. Great location next to a good beach.

Absolutely loved this gem of a hotel, I'm so glad that I booked. The Hotel has had a refurb and new owners who were so accommodating and friendly. The Lavender Room is a small sized room but is just the right size for a single person. The bed is hands down the best bed I have slept in! It was extremely comfortable. The location of the hotel is perfect to get to everything. You are literally within 5 minutes to Old Town, Restaurants, shops and the beach.

Great location, very comfortable beds, nice new bathroom. The staff was very friendly. They called a couple of days before our arrival to ask if we wanted a double bed or two separate beds. Upon arrival we got an upgrade to a bigger room. Breakfast was also good.

Hotel is excellent!! Our room had a wonderful, big terrace, view to the sea, breakfast was OK. Beach is ten metres from the hotel. Bus and train station are nearby. City centre, that is old city is in front of the hotel. Everything was perfect!

Known as ‘The Pearl of France’, the city of Menton is located on the French Riviera near the Italian border. Overlooking the blue Mediterranean waters, this destination has colourful houses with red roofs, golden beaches and a harbour with fishing boats and yachts.

Built by the architect Laurent Lavagna, the 17th century Basilica of Saint-Michel-Archange is a historic Baroque-style church with an imposing belltower. Home to the Jean Cocteau Museum, the 17th century Bastion was once a defensive fort. Today, this museum hosts a great collection of ceramics and a unique mosaic.

Wander around the pedestrian streets of the old town, relax in a traditional cafe or discover the green gardens of the city, including the Jardin Serre de la Madone and the Botanical Garden.

    Menton is an ideal place to visit for those who like walking. A lovely town centre, mostly traffic free, with lots of cobbled streets and plenty of shops to explore. Also a very long seafront with a wide choice of restaurants to suit all tastes.

    Menton is beautiful.

    Menton is beautiful. A perfect stop along a fab coastline of towns and villages both in France and over the border in Italy. The town itself is buzzing with cafes, shops and restaurants. The old world charm of the town remains and it isn't over- commercialised. Beaches are lovely, with warm, clear water, mind the stony sand though. The area felt unspolit. An ideal spot to base yourself to travel around the regions, close to Nice airport, Cannes, Antibes, Monaco and Italy. Public transport was fine, trains and Ubers, local buses were infrequent. We loved The New Bar on the pier, a basic pub with music and friendly staff. Menton is hilly, especially around Menton Garavan (port area) so avoid if you've mobility issues or young children, better to locate in the town itself. Recommend a sunrise swim, beautiful to see the sun rise and reach the Basicilica St Michael, a must visit tourist site.

    It was right in the middle of some of the best places in Europe. Quick and easy trip to towns and cities along the Italian Riviera, Milan and of course Nice and Monaco. Steps to the train station that can take you to all these spots. Very clean. Abundance of restaurants and bakeries to chose from.

    We discovered Menton 5 years ago and since then every summer we come back. It's a little gem of the Côte d'Azur ideally located, with ideal transport links to all the best places to visit both in Italy and France.Trains are fast, comfortable, very frequent and not too expensive. The sea is cristalline, beaches are clean not too crowded. The Promenades is just spectacular, completely equipped for all activities, with drinking fountains, wooden deck chairs for sunbathing, gazebos for relaxing with artificial fog during the hottest hours, many slides and equipment for children, in the evening there are concerts, fireworks, air shows.The main street of shopping and restaurants, pizzerias and ice cream parlors is simply mind-blowing. Absolutely to try Gelateria Sofia, pizzeria Vesuvio, Osteria da Carlo, restaurant Leone, for food shopping -supermarkets Casino and Carrefour City.The hospitality of the locals, the climate, the food, the sea and the air make this city an incredibly attractive place for a family (and not only) holiday.

    A beautiful, unspoilt Italianate Mediterrean seaside town nestled between the sea and the mountains. Citrus trees line the streets. Many gardens to visit and walk in. Not dominated by high rise buildings and no bad behaviour witnessed during our stay. Chic but not a brash reserve for the super rich only like it's neighbour, Monte Carlo!

    This hotel was the highlight of our Europe trip. Absolutely beautiful place to stay! The staff are so friendly & kind, loved them. The bedroom, bathroom, balcony & decor was divine. The high quality breakfast choices were very yum. It was also a treat to have a refill of cold water flat or sparkling anytime. The location was ideal, everything perfect for our Menton visit.

    Location is perfect, you cant get any better. Sea just right accross the road,Menton old town its just round the corner. Apartment size is good enouth. Air con works perfect in hot summer day. If someone comes by car use Hotel ville car park as its closest and less busy space wise.
