Superb location close to town centre. Characterful building but with good facilities. Staff went out of their way to be helpful eg the receptionist who came to see if we had any car recharging issues and the chambermaid who popped down to reception as we checked out with an item we’d left behind. The breakfast here was the best of the three hotels we used during our drive from the Pyrenees to the Belgian border.

I have stayed twice and is by far, the best choice as a pet friendly hotel in France while on a road trip. It has plenty of green area to walk your dog, a boulangerie around the corner. Super friendly staff and super clean rooms.

    Very nice, smaller city, near the river Saona, nice walking area, rich history; we had dinner in the oldest wodden house in the city and brunch at Les Coursives near the cathedral. Both nice places and good food.

    Perfect stopping place on the way to Italy/Spain, and on the way back to the UK/other countries, easier than Lyon. Some very good value riverside restaurants in town along the Saone . Easy access to highways & shops. Parking - best to arrive by early evening

    Whilst the location of this hotel is very handy with it...

    Whilst the location of this hotel is very handy with it being just on the motorway. The condition of the place was appalling. On first sight it looks scruffy, only half the signage worked and it looks like it needs a good coat of paint. The rooms are super basic, which would be fine if they were clean which they weren't. We ended up having to pay for this hotel but we didn't stay as it would have spoiled our holiday.

    Excellent location off the motorway and very convenient for trip south to the coast. Bed comfortable and quiet night. Nice restaurants in Macon but had a drink in bar after. Hotel is dated and needs a refresh but you will barely notice if you have been driving 12 hours! Lovely staff.

    The apartment was ok, just the smell of sewage is really bad, the entrance door, key area & steps up to the apartments is that bad, you think your going into a ghetto Macon, I took my wife to the 360 Hotel roof terrace for tge sunset & views over Macon, fortunately it brightened up from the earlier rain.. but the service was a little slow, & trying to pay was taking so long a queue developed of about 12 people.. problem was... 1 person using the only tablet to pay the bill.. nice place though, unlike the open air parking by the river, as my wife & I were too busy looking through the trees to find a space to park my American pick up truck, we then walked off to the apartment away from the entrance, only returning at 08.00 to find a full size market in the car park, & my truck gone... a local helped & showed me the signs at the entrance, No Parking between 00.00 - 12.00.. went to local police station & waited until 09.00, when they opened, they apologised but its my fault, €15 taxi to the compound, & €126 release fee, we left lost 3 hrs.. then caught heavy traffic to & around Lyon... so use tge underground parking

    Macon was not at all as expected - v run down, lots of shops/restaurants closed, very industrial and v little to do other than to walk along the river and only so much of that you can do. But ... if you like churches its a good place to go

    This is a reaonably priced hotel in the centre of Macon. It has parking which you paid for at E12 per night. The rooms are small but adequate but not much room for luggage or hanging space for clothes. The breakfast was included and was very good, continental style.
