We stayed in the Maya room which is in the attic of the cottage, it was like a fairy story! Gorgeous stairs led up to out bedroom, lounge area and little steps down into the cutest bathroom. The area was private, cosy and comfy with plentiful parking and views to the beach and over the sea that were amazing ….I recommend afternoon tea at 4pm, but indulge in cake and champagne while looking out to sea, once the sun begins to go down, drinks around the fire are a must. We took a picnic dinner in our room (it was a last minute booking so the restaurant was booked out) but I have heard it’s amazing. Overall with a noon checkout…. Fabulous

A very quiet little village near Etretat, which can be...

A very quiet little village near Etretat, which can be reached for a visit by bus, the stop for which is 5 minutes from the house; everything is within walking distance: mini-market, very good bakery and excellent restaurant 5 minutes away, small children's playground and sports trail nearby; a 30-minute walk takes us to the superb Antifer beach through the valley of the same name.

Small-scale hotel (21 rooms) with a welcoming atmosphere. Friendly and very helpful staff. The entrance/reception area has seating and a pleasant bar. The rooms/bathroom are well-maintained, though a bit small, but sufficient for a short stay. Breakfast was very good.

We travel by bike.

We travel by bike. The location is excellent, away from the hustle and bustle of Etretat but close enough to go for a stroll. Beautiful beach, about a 30-minute walk away. There's a walkway offering views of the cliff arches. There's a good restaurant next to the hotel, and the boulangerie is also good.

Le Tileul is a good starting point for hikes to and along...

Le Tileul is a good starting point for hikes to and along the cliffs of Normandy. You can walk all the way to Étretat. The village itself is very small. There is a restaurant, a bakery, and a small supermarket. Étretat is just a few minutes away by car. There is also a bus service.

The hotel is very well located in relation to Etretat, with easy access via a direct bus from the center, allowing you to leave your car in the hotel parking lot. The staff is very friendly and attentive. A restaurant and a bakery are very close by, providing everything you need to be satisfied.

Good location, quiet area.

Good location, quiet area. Very good restaurant right next door. The shower area is very small and the room needs renovation. Poor Wi-Fi signal. The parking lot is very narrow; I preferred to leave my vehicle outside.

The location was good, great to have a restaurant, boulangerie, pizza take away and supermarket close. A very short drive down to the beaches of Etretat, which are beautiful pebble beaches offering a stunning coastline, gardens, museum, bars restaurants etc. The beach at Le Tilleul was also beautiful and much quieter, no facilities, but a wonderful tree lined walk down to the beach took about 20 mins to walk,(you can not drive to this beach) , great for the dog. The house had private parking for the car and a secure garden for the dog.

Location is great, short walk to nearest beach and good to be surrounded by the horses and farmers fields. Room is very compact but comfortable and clean (do not expect high end hotel clean it is on an equestrian centre) with private shower and toilet. Staff were friendly and despite language barrier we were able to communicate enough to understand the basics. Some great opportunities to ride unfortunately our son was too small to take part this time.

The location is great, the atmosphere among the horses is great, I am a photographer, I could take great pictures in the early evening at sunset. It is very different from a traditional hotel, but so enjoyable, the beach of Le Tilleul 20mn walk from there is also not to be missed,

The best stay I had in forever, owners were absolutely amazing, talked English, breakfast was delicious, rooms very clean. I just adore this place and for sure will return one day. I can't express how much I recommend this hotel, wish every place was like that. AMAZING!

Very clean and quiet hotel. You can visit Étretat by foot and see a beautiful view along the way. If you want to take a bus, stop is just across the street too. The owners are very friendly and amazing!❤️
