Very friendly staff, lovely location and great food. The walk round the hotel grounds is lovely. We found some lovely horses and ponies in the grounds. Would highly recommend.

A very relaxed stay in the rural surroundings we wanted. Lovely spacious room The host gave us excellent suggestions for places to see and places to eat. There is such a varuety ti see and do in this area of brittany and great walks, and excellent restaurants

Staff was super friendly and helpful. We had a cooler bag of food from the house where we were staying, and they stored it in their fridge for us and put our freezer packs in the freezer, which was greatly appreciated! They also gave us several recommendations for restaurants. We had a room for 3, with 2 single beds and a double. I find beds in France to be much firmer than the US, so in case travelers prefer a softer bed, be aware of this. This was about 15-20 minutes from Carnac, so convenient for the visit.

Very friendly and helpful. Kept our bicycles and luggage whilst we di d a boat trip to Gavrinis. Good location for restaurants and shortish walk to the port (10 minutes). Electric radiator in the room was good as it was quite cool.

    Le Bono is a lovely small village with all the facilities you need. There are a number of restaurants as well as a two boulangeries. Crossing over the river using the iconic bridge leads you to some pleasant walks through the trees. There are some steep steps getting from the main street to the harbour and down to riverside.

    Beautiful town close to so many great attractions, perfect spot for people looking for peace and quiet without beeing to far away from bigger cities. Clise to many fab places like Carnac, Kingoland, Île-aux-Moines and many great castles. Perfect for families young children and couples.

    Christian was a wonderful host, providing a marvelous breakfast to set you on your way. She was always very helpful at making suggestions for places to visit if you needed advice. The facilities were far more extensive than any other B&B we have stayed at. The rooms are lovely and the grounds were wonderful to sit in at the end of a busy day.

    The hotel is located on the main road from Auray and was easy to see. English was spoken at reception most of the time. Our bed was comfortable. We expected to be upstairs but we had wide steps down to our room. We were pleasantly surprised to find we had a balcony and a view over the water, which was lovely, although wet weather prevented us from using the balcony. We didn't expect a balcony or being downstairs.

    The location is just exceptional in the middle of a generous nature (river, horses, wood …) but next to a living city center of Le Bono (3 min by car to supermarket, resto…). Very well connected to Vannes. Car is a must. The hotel has been newly renovated with a lot of taste and the staff is doing its best to meet guest expectations and needs.

    Small, comfy hotel. Free parking. Room simple but spotless, with a great view over the river. Great breakfast. Ideally located for exploring southern Britanny (Auray, Vannes, Lorient, beaches...). Not many restaurants nearby - we had to search.
