After a stressful week of our car breaking down we booked our stay here as it was reasonably close to the garage where our car was being fixed. Wow, what a great stay it was. Our stresses melted away with Paul (the hosts) kind welcome. With a tired 7 month old and 6 year old in tow and feeling rather dishevelled ourselves after a long drive Paul sorted a restaurant reservation for us and made sure we had everything we needed. The weather was rather hot so we were provided with a fan and a cold bottle of water in the fridge in our room. The room was very comfortable. Spacious and the bedding was lovely soft cotton. We requested a cot which was provided and set up ready for us. The shower was lovely and hot and facilities for tea and coffee. Breakfast here was outstanding! Nothing was too much trouble. Paul was a great host and showed an interest in us and the kids which made it feel really special. A well needed comfortable stay. We felt very looked after. We will certainly be back if passing through again. Highly recommended especially when travelling with children. I'd choose staying here over a motorway hotel room any day.

In our trip to Bordeaux with our dog, we made an overnight stop here. It was very peaceful. We had the whole place to ourselves. We were able to have a bbq on the patio, the dog could run free on the grass because it was all fenced. The little house had everything we needed for a nice evening.
