Great location to break the journey travelling from South to North France. The hotel is very close to the train station but not far at all from the A6 motorway. The hotel parking was on the premises, at he back of the hotel, but we paid a little extra to use it (€8). People at the reception were very kind and they gave us an excellent suggestion for dinner as the hotel restaurant was fully booked. I stayed with my family in two rooms next to each other, they were spacious and tastefully renovated. Breakfast was terrific well worth for €14 (kids eat free).

Cute little town with good food shops. However, we were disappointed by the greenway for cycling: not very pretty, long straight stretches. Not very interesting even though it's well laid out.

Dinner in the charming garden accompanied by delicious wines. The very friendly hostess provides plenty of tips for exploring the area. Peaceful surroundings with hiking opportunities through the nearby vineyards. Beautiful routes to explore, wine tastings to be had everywhere, and castles to visit.

Charming village nestled among the vineyards. Warm and welcoming locals. Ideal for exploring the region with some excellent restaurants. New tea room, Petit Nuage: friendly and efficient service, excellent homemade refreshing bubble tea. Bike rentals: Activinum (high-quality, well-equipped bikes).

We were only there for one evening and one night because we...

We were only there for one evening and one night because we were passing through. There are a few sights that could easily keep you entertained for a few hours. Otherwise, the village doesn't offer much. We had an aperitif at the picnic benches near the castle and later went to the local pizzeria for a bite to eat. The pizzas were good.

Excellent in every way. A very warm and pleasant welcome from Marilene, a delicious breakfast, and a very clean and quiet place – just like home! Givry is a very pretty village nestled at the foot of the vineyards.

The property has a wonderful atmosphere with a particularly beautiful outdoor swimming pool area. It is right in the heart of Givry and after a few days it feels like you are a resident of the town. The suite we stayed in was beautiful and provided for an extremely comfortable three night stay. Julie is a magnificent host and her food is excellent.

Les Chambres Claires Givry were a very charming property in the most charming little village. Renovated and decorated with great taste. Very quiet environment, easy to park the car, everything easily reached by foot. The host is a very charming, helpful lady. Recommended for a nice romantic stay over.
