The property, the decor, the grounds and the tranquility. Also the owners are so welcoming and really make you feel like part of their family and not just a random traveller. Great if you have dogs as you can walk in the grounds with no traffic. The preserved military V1 bomb launch site in the forest is also really interesting!

Beautiful gite with loads of charm and privacy. The fire was burning when we arrived, making the gite cozy warm even in winter. The hostess was very welcoming and helpful. We only stayed one night, but would definitely recommend also for a longer stay.

Pierre greeted us upon arrival and gave us the use of another house with full kitchen facilities We were able to cook a meal and store our food in the fridge the gorgeous grounds made for a perfect dining experience we were also pleased when Pierre shared a beer with us and told us about himself and the estate breakfast was plentiful for vegetarians and we shared it with a group from Hong Kong
