Washing and drying facilities which was a bonus. Plenty of room for bikes in the 'garage area'. Spacious and well equipped apartment. No restaurants open the day we arrived so host suggested the Super U supermarket which we used - care it closes promptly at 7.30pm.

Nice quiet location. Modern and had everything we needed. Small private garden space. Owners next door but didn't interfere. 5 minute drive to town and beach. Definitely recommend this accommodation. Thank you for the welcome biscuits.

The town center is absolutely charming, with no high-rise...

The town center is absolutely charming, with no high-rise buildings right on the seafront, which is quite rare. The locals are very friendly, and everything was great. The inland area looks magnificent, but unfortunately, we had to return to the Paris region. We'll be back as soon as possible to explore the Vendée further; it's a beautiful region we hadn't yet discovered.

It's a pleasant town with several restaurants to suit all tastes and several large beaches with easily accessible free parking. There's a supermarket and shops in the town center for groceries and souvenirs. It's a very welcoming town. We rented bikes for a lovely ride along the coast.

A charming little seaside resort with a town center and a...

A charming little seaside resort with a town center and a separate area. It's easily walkable or bikeable. Don't expect a shopping paradise, but rather a friendly, intimate atmosphere. By car, you're just 10 minutes from St. Gilles (with Leclerc, Lidl, and Aldi, plus gas and larger shops) and 30 minutes from Les Sables d'Olonnes. A pleasant place to be, and not too crowded.

A small seaside town with all the shops, a covered market, and a large open market. Numerous walking and cycling paths, a concrete boat ramp open to all with parking for vehicles with trailers, and the possibility of launching by tractor on some other beaches. Opportunities for shore fishing, plenty of activities... we love it ♥!

A fairly large sandy beach at La Parée, ideal at low tide...alas, this beach disappears at high tide. A fun rock barrier to climb. An excellent bakery and pastry shop at La Parée (there may be others elsewhere in Brétignolles, but we only tried this one).

I came for the ironman in Les Sables d'Olonne and had a few wonderful days in Bretignolles-sur-mer. The apartment is conveniently located close to the center, in walking distance to the restaurants and the market Sunday morning. Super friendly owner. Highly recommended.

Location next to the sea, and good views. the bedroom was well equipped, clean and comfortable. The bonus of a balcony with sea views was a bonus. The hotel element was far superior to the restaurant
