The house was great. Our beds and bedding were so lovely. We only stayed one night on our way through. Breakfast was a tasty typical petite dejeunier with extra delicious jams. Parking was easy on the street when we arrived. We had adjoining rooms with our own bathrooms, which was perfect, and we appreciated the fridge and coffee maker.

The information and communication we received from Roch was excellent. He sent us lots of really useful guidance regarding the local area before our stay and always responded to our queries in a friendly and timely way. Property was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a short stay. It is a compact property however there is some very clever use of space. The air conditioning was very welcome and needed, as we had very high temperatures during our stay. The outside space was fantastic with areas to eat or just sit and relax. There is a lovely garden area around the property attracting lots of birds and insects including bees and butterflies. A Thoughtfully placed gazebo meant we could sit and watch the sun go down and enjoy the views across the surrounding farmland. We especially loved the hammock !!! The location was idyllic. It felt rural whilst still being within easy reach of Chinon, attractions, supermarkets, restaurants etc.
