Perfectly located- just few minutes drive to Carcasonne old city. The property is a hidden gem , where each room was carefully designed. You have here all the confort, as well the intimacy you need for a relaxing vacation. The owners made us feel at home as they made sure we are very well taking care. A perfect escape from it all. A perfect wooden cabin on stilts with a beautiful view in a really peaceful location. It was just what we needed to relax and enjoy living in nature.

The hotel was absolutely beautiful. A ten minute walk from the ancient city , ideally located in a quiet area , secure off road parking . The room was comfortable and stylish and the outdoor terrace was amazing - large with hot tub . The reception staff met us as we got out of the car and showed us to the room . After explaining the features of the room , including the electronic blinds , she brought us a lovely welcome drink to have with the fruit , biscuits and chocolates that were waiting in the room . The little details and touches are what makes this hotel feel truly 5 star . Breakfast was delicious and lots of choice and again the staff were very attentive and friendly . Breakfast could be taken in the restaurant or in your room . We tried both . We ate at the 2 Star Michelin restaurant on one evening , which was a fantastic experience . The food and service were amazing and it was nice to meet Chef . A massive plus for us was this hotel is dog friendly and they welcomed our little dog .

Both my husband and I loved this little gem. Our bedroom window faced the beautiful medieval town walls. The room was very spacious, clean, with a kettle for tea and coffee. Tea and coffee were in the hallway to take as needed. Fridge and microwave are also in the hallway to use. Bed was very comfortable as were the pillows, a definite plus for me. The location was just perfect and was very easy to find. Free WiFi We were just a short walk from the medieval town, which is free to enter and well worth the visit, the walk around took us about an hour and half.
