Karen and Bart were very friendly, helpful, humorous and knowledgeable hosts. Genuine interest in the story of my Great Uncle, missing in action on the first day of the Battle of the Somme 1916. I learnt a lot on my brief visit and remain grateful, a lot more than just a place to stay.

Also ask Mireille to show you her "treasures" from the 1914-1918 World War, as their farm was once a battlefield and they continue to find old ammunition even one century after the war ended. Mireille also has excellent directions, maps and other 1914-1918 World War resources available for her visitors. Visitors will enjoy visiting the family dairy operations and seeing all of the farm animals, cows, friendly dog, cat, rooster and chickens.
