Shuttle service to the centre of Aix was very handy - thank you! Very beautiful and spacious rooms (with the elegance of first half of XX century). My room had a few nice paintings. Electric kettle, microwave and refrigerator are available. Quiet, peaceful, in an elegant region, a few seconds away from Granet museum. I don’t know how the stars classification is awarded but my room was clearly better than vrious three or even fours stars rooms that I had during time.

    We were travelling round France so only stayed two days in Aix. It is excellent for culture and there was a wonderful Cezanne exhibition while we were there. Plenty to see and do in the town. However, it was extremely busy while we were there. Perhaps a bit too busy. This may have been due to the Cezanne exhibition which was very popular or the fact that we were there at the weekend. It is definitely a town worth visiting though.

    This is an ideal weekend location lovely old welly feel to the place you must stay in the inner city/old town. Lots of lovely squares with street musicians, loads of bars and restaurants has a nice market on some days. We saw the CEZANNE exhibition which was great.

    We spent two nights in Aix-en-Provence and completely fell in love with the city. The Saturday market was amazing, full of colors and local flavors. Aix feels like a charming small town, but at the same time, it’s vibrant and full of things to do. We really wished we had more time there!

    Came for the Cezanne 2025 exhibits, and thoroughly enjoyed our brief stay in Aix en Provence. See the Basitide, see the studio, walk up to the Jardin des peintres. We even enjoyed a Cezanne-themed bike tour, and of course the Musée Granet. As in most of touristed areas of France, do a little extra homework, pick your spots, and make reservations for dinner- and even lunch. We did the 'menu wander,' which often leads to 'just ok' meals.

    A large historic city centre with hundreds of small individual shops and restaurants. The squares are a wonderful place to eat at night and you should not miss the food markets on a Saturday. Very helpful and pleasant staff in the shops and restaurants and a very beautiful city. Access is easy by train from Marsallie or other towns in the south France; you don't need a car. Best to eat away from the main street as it's netter value and the food in thr local bakeries is amazing. I'd especially recommend Boulangerie Hats Aix Espiariat for breakfast and lunch

    A little quirky hotel in a good way. Layout of first frloor was interesting with long hallway but a very nice sitting room with patio off the first floor.. Location was excellent. Short walk into the real hear of Aix en Provence and loved the city. The staff was very friendly.

    This hotel is very good if one's requirements are central Aix, relatively low cost and basic facilities. Rooms are best as single occupancy as small. All of central Aix is in walking distance. We parked at Rambot = multi story 20 euros per day.
