Lovely hotel, fantastic views over harbour from our room and restaurant, and one of the best beds i have ever had at a hotel. Next time in Faroe Islands we will definitely stay here again. A wonderful establishment we gladly recommend to anyone travelling to Faroe Islands.

VisitHOMES is very centralised located to explore the different Islands. The hostess is very friendly, discreate and a good source of info about the Islands. The room was perfect for a solo traveller. The breakfast is a real plus. The products are high standard and a good selection. The breakfast room is cosy and with a sincere exchange between guests and host before heading up to explore the Islands.

Sydrugota is a cute little town away from the hustle and...

Sydrugota is a cute little town away from the hustle and bustle. Like in most of the Faroes, the views are amazing. There are not a lot of tourists in town, so we got a real feel of what it was like to live there as a native. Soccer (football) is huge on the Faroes, and it was fun to play on the small field in town, which is next to a creek and looks out over the mountains and the fjord, and we also got to play midnight soccer on the pitch for the Vikingur team in nearby Nordragota. Sydrugota is centrally located, but you still have to take one of the tunnels, which are amazing feats of engineering but get expensive to use on a daily basis, to get to most destinations.
