A beautiful beach spoilt by floating litter and rubbish in the water. I have seen this often around the world and understand that it is a side effect of a bigger issue. I consider myself quite resilient but did not feel comfortable swimming here. Would be a good photo op if not intending to swim.

The Intercontinental Hotel at Natadola Beach is easily the best hotel on the mainland of Fiji. The reason why is because most mainland hotels do not have sandy beaches and certainly few have coral that you can snorkel on and those hotels are dependent on pools and facilities to attract people to them over the hotels on outer islands. If you are going to Fiji for a short visit and don't have time to move about to experience it or you want to keep the costs down (the outer islands are expensive) then goto the Intercontinental. Keep away from Denarau(which sucks). the Intercontinental at Natadola beach gives you a lot. We tried all the hotels. Best dish was at Navo and it was the crab linguini. I'd avoid going spastic on room upgrades, we did so but by the looks of it every room there is mint.

The beach is worth the trip but Yatule isn’t!

The beach is worth the trip but Yatule isn’t! $200 round trip from Nadi - plus overpriced accommodation - way better options available - choose wisely. Close to the golf course if you can’t afford the Intercontinental next door. Okay to eat here luckily - no other options! Singatoka $100 taxi ride away for options - snacks and water - stock up!

We absolutely enjoyed our stay there, the staff were so friendly and helpful and that alone made the experience so much more magical, they provided activities everyday along with cultural events and things even the kiddos could enjoy. We stayed in the beachfront bure and it was quite spacious for myself and three children, it was about a ten step space to the actual beach and also there were hammocks everywhere so you could just relax and read a good book if you didn’t want to sit at the beach. What a magical place I cannot wait to come back and create more memories. I enjoyed the snorkelling activity, kayaking, watching the staff play volleyball, the fire-dance was an experience in itself, the kids loved the crab racing because it was different and very simple but yet so much fun. Thank you to all the lovely staff you guys made our trip so special. We will see you all again Vinaka from a happy kiwi

Liked the friendliness of the staff, the breakfasts, the beach, golf course, hotel layout and facilities. Think staff communication, in relation to servicing, could be improved - too many routine provisions in rooms not replenished regularly (eg. water, milk, toilet paper), requiring calls to the front desk - sometimes more than once.

the stay at Yatule Resort was very enjoyable and relaxing.

the stay at Yatule Resort was very enjoyable and relaxing. A small resort with fijian bungalows. Ate at the Yatule restaurant and drank at the bar.including great coffee. walked along the beach to the Intercontinental (once only) for a snack to eat It's not easy to get around, due to the state of the road leading into the resort.....by car only to get to the main road Once inside Yatule resort there is nothing to avoid.

Staff were superb. We had additional requirements at short notice for a videoconference and they were able to facilitate it without any issues. Very friendly, courteous and polite. One additional feature was a Fiji Airways check-in at reception, so we could print boarding passes & leave our luggage with the hotel. This saved us time and allowed us freedom to enjoy the last day without our suitcases dragging alongside us. I would wholeheartedly recommend the hotel to others.

The location on Natadola Beach was amazing, we swam in the sea as we well as the pool. There were plenty of sun loungers provided. Wifi was available in the rooms and it was reliable. Food servings in the main restaurant were generous but somewhat lacking in flavour. The singing, the Fijian male voices were wonderful. Also the entertainment evening featuring the villagers, including a 7 year old, twirling fire was really good on Saturday evening.

What is there not to like it is rustic, beautiful and non pretentious Idyllic situation, fantastic staff working all the time to ensure your experience is great and memorable whether you visit for the day or are a guest at the resort A true Fijian cultural experience If you don't want to stay at a huge hotel resort complex with pool but want to experience some true Fijian culture and closeness like you are family, book now

It’s massive and fancy! There’s so much to do, you won’t even need to get out of the hotel premises. I appreciate the attention to the smallest details. The staff are so accommodating and welcoming - all smiles when they see you! Some would even go out of their way just to make you feel valued. You seem them sweating while they work but still ready to flash their winsome smiles and greet you ‘Bula!’

Loved our stay at Yatule. Beautiful Natadola Bay. We had a rental car which was good as quite out of the way which is part of why it's so great. But good to have the option to travel down the coast. Food was great. The room is quite small but comfortable. Suggest if you get a pool view room to stay away from room 35 as it backs on to the pool room pump house.
