Pure paradise, sand, beach, ocean, amazing snorkeling and diving, super kind staff, I am missing it so much and want to go back, total reset if the busy world, simple very endearing resort, snorkeling with sharks, diving without license with sharks, also has swimming pools, we had a bure directly on the beach, spectacular

The people here are absolutely amazing and delightful. Great food! The facilities are clean and well-maintained. They have mosquito nets over the beds if you wish to use them. The beach is RIGHT there and there’s always a gorgeous view from anywhere you might be. We LOVED snorkeling here. The local kids are wonderful! We were made to feel very welcome and are so glad to have added the last-minute stop here during our honeymoon after hearing about it from another couple we met along the way in Fiji.

Mareia and Jolame are the loveliest hosts you can imagine. I was the only guest there but they still took so much time for a full day trip to do the reef shark snorkeling with me and a nice island for picnic. They food was always fresh and so delicious. They were welcoming me like a family member. Vinaka vaka levu!

- The food is beyond exceptional, there wasn’t single meal that we had that wasn’t amazing. Everything from curry’s, stir fry’s to roast dinners every dish was delicious the kitchen team are outstanding - Jodie the scuba instructor was brilliant, she was knowledgable and infinitely patient, reassuring us every step of the way. We had a really good time doing the ‘discover scuba’ trip - We stayed in a bungalow which was much more spacious than the accommodation we stayed in on the other islands and more importantly had air conditioning

The room was very well kept, the most comfortable place we stayed during our Yasawa island trip! Lots of activities to choose from and the food provided was delicious. The host family were so nice and even took us to Sunday Church service with them - truly an amazing experience. Thank you very much to the lovely family for providing us with an amazing stay.

The best place we stayed in in Fiji!!! The staff is soon friendly, always smiling and willing to help you! The whole place is beautifully maintained, there are two beaches, wonderful greenery and everything else you need. We stayed at a tree house which doesn't have a bathroom but we never had to wait for showers or toilets. And the food!!!! Oh my, it was the best experience we could have, we stayed in other much more expensive resorts but this one definitely had the best food from them all. Regards to every staff member from Martini and Margareta

Everything! The location is stunning—beautiful beaches, crystal-clear water, and lush mountains. The staff were incredibly warm, welcoming, and made us feel like family. The food was fresh and delicious, and the activities (snorkeling, hiking, cultural experiences) were well-organized and unforgettable. Our beachfront bungalow was clean, comfortable, and had amazing views.

What guests said about Kuata:

BareFoot Kuata was a fair or probably a bad place to stay.

BareFoot Kuata was a fair or probably a bad place to stay. It is focused on the Backpacker tourist and even for that customer segment I find it expensive for the quality of food and accommodation. Food was not good at all. A typical buffet with the regular stuff and nothing that will impress you. Basic food. Basic coffee. Basic Tea. The staff at the restaurant were just doing their job but they were never friendly or welcoming. The guy that took my luggage to the Bure told me as I arrived how tired he was of working and walking to the most distant Bure which is number 30. More of hinting for a tip. Also he suggested to be approached individually if I wanted a fresh coconut. The facilities were simply all right. There were lounges by the beach that had not seen any proper cleaning or maintenance in a long time so it looks sad and abandonned. The staff at the Dive Shop when being asked for a kayak at 4 pm looked like they were not keen to help as they finish their day at 5 pm. Cleaning could have been better. The hotel lacks greenery other than what is there already, as pathways and common areas could be enhanced and made more beautiful. Once again, if you are into the backpacking world, this could be for you. But if you want a more boutique hotel or intimate experience, then I would go somewhere else. The only reason why I chose it was the snorkeling with the sharks but you can do that as a day visitor.
