The hotel is beautiful, stylish (it's a boutique hotel) and the breakfast! I can say it was the best of the whole trip, it's just fantastic! Not only visually wonderful, it's full of options and has just about everything! We loved it! The bed is super comfy, the room has a good size and is very well furnished and lit. The hotel has a restaurant and the food is excellent! And the window opens, even just a little , which is an important point for us, because we need a cool room to sleep and It's not often that the room temperature is cool enough for us to sleep in. The hotel has a very good location in Rovaniemi if you don’t want to drive, and has parking lot as well.

Exceptional comfort, cleanliness and the staff were absolutely amazing. Extremely helpful and accommodating and made sure that our stay was as easy as possible. Have you ever been on an airplane where the whole flight CHEERS upon landing? Not from a terrifying flight where everyone is happy to land but out of sheer JOY and excitement. Welcome to the North Pole. I traveled solo and adored everything about Rovaniemi, the surrounding area and it's people and I'm making plans to return again with my children. I felt safe traveling as a single woman and found the residents of the little city to be kind and helpful. I flew in and then took the night sleeper train to Helsinki to fly home. That experience was also super fun. I felt like a child boarding the Christmas Express (remember that book?)

The town was very easy to get around and had plenty of options for activities. This trip was focused on the Santa themed activities, but I want to go back and spend more time in the nature areas. We made it to a few but only for short visits. I think I could spend hours walking and enjoying the natural surroundings there.

It’s a small town, better to use Uber for transportation...

It’s a small town, better to use Uber for transportation than local taxi, rent a car would be best. Make arrangements for ready to eat foods as most food joints will close by 8 pm. Wilt app is good for serving food and groceries. For northern lights hunting, better to book for guaranteed sighting with refundable options otherwise.

Summer trip to Rovaniemi: Lapland was in a heat wave which held us back a bit as it was rather humid. We enjoyed Arktikum very much, went swimming in the river, walked in the Arctic Gardens and explored the town centre. We planned some hiking but it was hotter than we expected. At end of July, sunset around midnight for only a short time, which is cool.

Our stay was perfect and would 100% recommend. The apartment was beautiful and exactly like the pictures. We were a group of girls for a hen party and it was absolutely perfect for us. The location was great!

We went by car just to see the road and environment to Rovaniemi. We were not disappointed. Along the way met other international tourists like that of Poland, France, Spain, Germany. That was nice, all had different destinations especially those with bikes, their goal was to go all the way upnorth...

What a beautiful place in Lapland. It is truly magical and you need to stay there when staying around rovaniemi for a night. We were picked up by the our amazing host. He was amazing !! He took us to the lodge by snow mobile And we just had the very best experience !! The lodge was cozy and warm and just a great place to watch northern lights if there are any at the night Sauna was the top of the cherry with view of the snow covered lake! It was one of the best experiences in Lapland to stay here. This place is 10 stars

the location is great and they had me in a river view room which was amazing. the buses out front to airport and Santa village are handy, and everything in town is accessible. I’ve stayed in Rovaniemi 6 times now and this was the first in this hotel. it was a bit confusing having to go underground through a tunnel to get to the other building, and instructions on how to access my room from that second building would of been handy to know at check in!

The location is great and the interior is nice and looks pretty new and stylish. We loved having the sauna in the apartment, you wouldn't get this in a hotel. Also we loved that the whole apartment was very warm despite the chilly weather. Overall the apartment was fantastic value for the money and it was easy to communicate with the host via the app. Definitely would consider Arctic Apartments again next time we visit Rovaniemi!

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was excellent, the room was incredible and the fridge was generously restocked every day.
