It was a very good experience again staying at Shitaye suite hotel. The staff of the hotel were very good and cooperative. Receptionist and others did their job perfectly. The housekeeping staff also was good.

The hotel was generally clean, very nice breakfasts, and friendly and professional staff! Hailemariyam at the gate was excellent! Hana was exceptionally extraordinary!! The breakfast had a wide range of authentic Ethiopian food and fruits. I enjoyed it thoroughly. The coffee was wonderful. The receptionists can speak sufficient English and are very helpful in guiding you on the nearby amenities eg. supermarket, and calling taxis. The receptionist called Wisdom was very helpful! The airport shuttles are clean and keep time.

It was very clean. They have warm water and very good water pressure. Staff is friendly and extremely helpful too, which meant a lot to me as navigating the city was rather difficult in the beginning. I stayed for an entire month and I was very happy with both the service and the amenities. There's a tiny park nearby (Shala park, maybe 15 mins walking) which is a nice place to eat and drink on the weekends. I haven't had issues around the area when walking, there are plenty of shops and restaurants around too so you can get whatever you need. Admittedly, I haven't been out walking at night at all so no experience on how that might work out.

Everything was great with Sabon Hotel! The hotel itself is very nice, well maintained, clean and cozy. But the staff make this place exceptional. From Selam and Selamawit at the front desk (both so so helpful) to Mebratu and his team in the restaurant (so kind) and Berhanu (I believe that's his name) who works in the lobby helping guests with various needs (also very kind and helpful), the driver who waited over an hour until I got out of the airport (sorry I forgot his name) - everyone went above and beyond and made my return to Addis so smooth and easy. Thanks so much to the team. I loved staying at this hotel and highly recommend it. It was also nice to have a free breakfast buffet, an ATM on site, and close proximity to restaurants. The staff even helped me get some clothes dry cleaned at a dry cleaners nearby. I could go on and on but I'm grateful for everything.
