Torre del Mar – A Hidden Gem on the Costa del Sol Torre del Mar really surprised me in the best possible way. It has everything you could wish for in a holiday destination: a wide and clean beach with a beautiful promenade perfect for walking, cycling or just enjoying the sea views. The atmosphere is authentic and relaxed – not overly touristy – so you really get a taste of Spanish life. The town is full of cozy tapas bars, beach chiringuitos with fresh fish, and plenty of nice restaurants and cafés. The location is also great for exploring the surrounding area, but Torre del Mar itself has more than enough to keep you entertained with shops, a lively weekly market, and a vibrant local vibe. What I loved most is the balance: it feels lively and welcoming, yet calm enough to really unwind. For me, Torre del Mar is the perfect mix of beach life, good food, and authentic Spanish charm. Crowded place.
Crowded place. Good town for young generation,who like night life. There are many bars,pubs. In the evening everybody walk along the Malekon. Some idiots lounched fireworks. we had never been to Torre Del Mar before and really liked it. It is a holiday resort visited by mostly Spanish people and as a result the food is better and good value compared with other places on the Costa Del Sol. We ate at Casa Lolo, La Brassiere and Grigio Pikilia There's a lovely entertainment area for children at the beach and each evening there is live entertainment at the Paseo Maritimo You can access Velez Malaga with it's historic old town, by bus, plus Caleta Velez, Torrox and Nerja.Guest review byLeckie - 10.0

Lovely Spanish town. Not too many tourists. Lots of lovely cafes restaurants and bars also nice shopping areas . Beach bars a plenty . Lovely promenade too walk or hire bikes. Friendly resort with great bars, restaurants and Chiringuitos and large beachfront. Too many places to mention but Bahía beach, Masai Mara and Serenis Chiringuitos were good for food and beach location. In town the Irish rover bar bar was great for a pint of Guinness and Bar Chumbera is a great Spanish quirky bar. It had a wide variety of different food options, Indian, Chinese, Mexican, English,Greek , Turkish and obviously Spanish tapas. Plus you fast food places like Burger King and kfc. There was everything you needed in the apartment. The owner was a very kind and helpful guy. He explained and showed everything and was in contact if we needed something.
