It was a stopover on the way to Bilbao ferry. Room was very comfortable and clean. It is basically rooms over a bar and restaurant, so it means you don't have to source somewhere if you want a quick bite or nightcap! Staff (girl at the bar) was very friendly and helpful.

The Hostal is in a lovely quiet location, Miguel is very friendly and helpful, everything was good and the walk to the Hostal is from the centre of burgos is nice too

Excellent little hidden away hotel in the centre of town. We had an inward facing room but it was warm, clean and windows opened. Downstairs is a bar and restaurant but no noise in the room.

The rooms are very clean and bright. The bed was very comfortable and I enjoyed my stay at Happy Hostal Carrales. The Hostel is close to both variations of the Camino into Burgos and a bit before the city center, so you can leave your backpack in your room before exploring the city.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable. Did not eat and stayed only 1 night so can’t comment on that. A little bit noisy if your room overlooks the outside seating but there was no noise late at night. Would recommend and would return.
