This is what heaven must be like! A beautiful place to calm down and relax but also with hiking opportunities in the area and it doesn’t take long to drive to Granada (the bus stop is 8mins away from the hostel Amt the bus brings you to the city centre) They also offer great massages and DIY courses 😍😇 I’ll definitely going to visit again!!

Cerro del Sol was freshly renovated and had a cozy feeling. The room was large, warm, and welcoming with a nice terrace and a view of the beautiful mountains. You could hear the birds singing. The Manager Gustavo and staff (Juanjo and another person) were also exceptional! They went above and beyond to help us secure ski passes to Sierra Nevada. They also printed out our tickets for the Alhambra, and set up breakfast really early in the morning, so that we could hit the slopes right when the ski resort opened. One notable item: the hotel is perfectly located if you want to ski and also spend time in Granada. Easy to park in their private lot, and then you can either drive 10 minutes into the city or take bus 33 from around the corner, it takes around 15-20 minutes. The bus leaves every 15 minutes and you simply walk down the hill about 7 min to the stop. The drive to the Sierra Nevada is about 35 minutes, and worth it. Hotels at the ski resort are like factories, worn and noisy, like airport hotels. And expensive too! So we were so happy to stay away from the hulabaloo at the top of the mountain and instead retreat to Cerro del Sol to rest-

What a fantastic find! A perfect location just 15-20 mins drive from the Sierra Nevada resort. A properly Spanish place with excellent staff (who never seemed to stop!), amazing food and a lovely family friendly atmosphere. It is popular with tourists and locals alike it’s a real find.

The great hotel out of downtown but bus station is right on the enter of hotel,so it's perfect. Good size of the room with great A/C ( very important here ). Also there is a very big terace with sunbeds. Unfortunately this is not time to use it,but it's good to know.

After a 4-year break, back in Albero. And beautiful, as always. Home away from home. Rooms cozy, comfortable and spacious, spotlessly clean. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood, near the Alhambra and is very well connected to the city center (bus stop practically in front of the hotel). You can park in front of the hotel for free. Nice home made breakfast. Don't let the 1 star fool you. This place is fantastic. I highly recommend it. I can't thank Pepe enough for his kindness and care. I hope we will be coming to Albero for many years to come :-) Simply, the best place, ever.

When there is only one hotel option in town you don’t expect a lot. With that in mind the Quéntar hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was spotless and it had a nice little balcony and also a fantastic bathtub. (Room 105). I thought that it was great value for the money. For two tired pilgrims on the Mozarabe it was a great find!
