- very nice territory with the garden and outstanding city view - big parking (you can also find free parking space next to the hotel) for only 7 euros per day - good breakfast: coffee, fruits, fried eggs, lots of sweets, etc. - nice location to explore the island by car (we drove almost 900 km during 1 week) but it would be a little bit difficult to go to the city, especially come back (it is about 1km to the city center, but the hotel is above ~100 m of the city center) - big wardrobe in the room, comfortable balcony, safety deposit box

Everything!! Honestly, I have stayed in a lot of hotels in my life. 5 star hotel around the world and I can honestly say, Hotel batonico & Oriental Spa , is the best one. It's simply beautiful. The garden is amazing,. It's so nice they could actually charge people to view it. The hotel itself is lush, roomy corridors and rooms, immaculately decorated. The Breakfast is in a class of its own.....they actually have champagne on ice, with fresh orange juice on the side for a morning bucks fizz! And the selection of food is fresh, tastey and cooked to perfection. With lots of healthy and vegetarian options. The pool and spa area is amazing. The workers are a delight! So warm and welcoming, very attentive. Just perfect. I would go every single year if I could. Which leads me to the price...OK, so it's not the cheapest hotel, BUT it is definitely worth the cost, if not more. Love, love , love it

The hotel was absolutely beautiful! It was very pleasant, extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed. The meals were amazing, and the staff was simply exceptional. We had such a wonderful time and highly recommend it. The location is right on the water, with breathtaking views. Everything was just perfect, and we truly enjoyed every moment!

The hotel affords stunning views of both the ocean and the mountains, the grounds are lush and the pools lovely - great place to just kick back and relax. A great base for exploring Puerto De La Cruz, Oratava, La Laguna etc (there is a bus stop right outside with good regular routes if you don't have a car). We didn't do the all-inclusive as we enjoy exploring local food and drink options, but we did enjoy the wonderful buffet breakfast (the outside terrace with views towards Mount Teide is a perfect place for a morning coffee). The evening entertainment was varied, but again we prefer exploring the area to didn't see much - but we did see the magic show which was great. Staff were superb, friendly and very genuine and helpful. The rooms are all huge apartments, and, though a little dated, comfortable and seemed well-insulated, and the jacuzzi was welcome after a day exploring! The place is beautiful, like a museum, typical house with a court in the middle where breakfast is served. There's a terrace with a beautiful view on the Teide and the seaside. Room was spacious, beds were comfy. Bathroom a bit small but functional. I read in other reviews that everything is automatic and too impersonal. I arrived before 8 pm and a kind woman was at the reception and told me that the reception closes at 8 pm. So after this time you don't see anybody. I parked in the street where the hotel is, but it may sometimes be difficult to find a parking nearby.
