Lovely decor, clean sleek lines , spacious rooms with great bathrooms, lovely balcony and all really well maintained. We were there mid December and never a problem for beds at the pool or never queues at the buffet. Breakfast buffet was fabulous and ran until 11am which was great, especially if you wanted to get in a yoga or Pilates class before breakfast. One of our main criteria in booking were the spa and fitness classes all included and it didn’t disappoint. There were 3 classes each morning running from 9am - yoga, aerial yoga or Pilates first two session then followed by aqua fit in the pool and then usually stretching/ yoga options also late afternoon - all really well run and never overcrowded- although with only 6 places for aerial yoga it was sometimes oversubscribed , but never an issue as you could follow similar poses on the ground 😉. Spa consisted of a small sauna and steam room - not the biggest but again we were mostly the only ones there. Jacuzzi and bubble beds were located outside and were a bitty chilly due to the time of year. Staff were lovely and always helpful. All in all a fabulous hotel, we would go back !

We absolutely loved everything about this property! From the exceptional services to the cozy and inviting atmosphere, not to mention the delicious food, our stay was an absolute delight. The room was comfortable and well-appointed, making us feel right at home. It's rare to find a place that excels in every aspect, but this hotel truly exceeded my expectations. can't wait to return for another memorable stay. Highly recommended!

-excellent breakfast: buffet, and to order options, nice long hours -gastronomic experience in the evening with dinner, very good -pools are heated very well!, big pool is perfect temperature, childrens pool felt like a bath, kids loved it! -we had a family suite, 1 large 2 person bed in the lving room, and 2 bedrooms: 1 with a sofa - sleeper, 1 with a bunkbed, kids loved it, and we liked the division of spaces

Amazing hotel. Beautiful inside the hotel, the rooms, the view, the outside … the list goes on. It was just perfect for us. The breakfast is delicious with a lot of choice. Everything is in pristine and clean conditions.

We were upgraded by hotel, so we had a large terrace with a sea view, which I am grateful for. There were many staff working at the hotel, everyone was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was very varied, they offered everything we expected. We were able to eat outside by the pool. The location was a few meters from the beach, a pleasant walk to Puerto Carmen or Mata Gorda, there is a sidewalk or footpath along the sea all the time, so it is possible to go for a long walk or run along the coast. The bike path is also well-maintained and safe.

    Puerto del Carmen is a great spot for friends, families, couples etc. There is something for everyone. New town is all hustle and bustle while Old town is that bit more chilled out and laid back. For female travelers I will say it’s better to be in larger groups it’s not too safe for women in my experience. There is strength in numbers! List of places to eat and drink: Old town: Backstage food and drinks (Could not get nicer servers) La Cascada Restaurant Grill Da Vinci New town: American Indian cafe L’italiano Trufarella Italian restaurant Rute 66 (for drinks)

    The strip is a bit like Southend on steroids for bars and restaurants. Service has always been good in any place we have been in El Kiosk is a must for cheap drinks and people watching, seats are limited though, there are plenty of other little bars too, so don't just frequent the one Overall feels very safe and generally very clean. The experience changes from one end of the "strip" to the other. Airport end bit quieter, in the middle bit more noisy, middle to Mercodona bit nosier and hectic, Harbour end and the atmosphere becomes quieter again.

    As a family, we have been a few times.

    As a family, we have been a few times. It seems to be getting more people each time we go. Some place’s are lovely and staff are very friendly. But some places staff can be very rude. All in all we had a lively family holiday as usual

    I love the beach, the restaurants, the bars.

    I love the beach, the restaurants, the bars. The supermarkets, the shops, truly this is my favourite place in the world. There is something for everyone in the evenings, so many different bars, with so much live music or karaoke, your choice.

    The area has changed a lot since covid- huge drinking street scene. The beach facilities need an upgrade - they are the same as they were 15 years ago, beach area not as clean as it used to be. Certain areas are used at night and not cleaned in the am. Additionally the beach lounges are very old. The smell of both human and cat pee is very strong along the beach entry points this should be addressed. The most disappointing aspect of the area is the constant smell of cannabis/ weed - its everywhere. As a non smoker / user inhaling vape fumes on a beach near small children is just disgusting.

    We have been to Puerto Del Carmen many times over 20 years, we love the relaxed Harbour area in particular, the strip is not really our thing. It's about a quiet holiday in the sun for us. There is a good variety of restaurants between the apartment area and the harbour.

    This is a very clean, bright and comfortable apartment in an ideal spot in Puerto del Carmen. Close to the playa chica beach, the harbour and in a side street in the old town. The apartment is completely self contained with all the comforts necessary for self catering. Our second time in one of the apartments in this small three apartment complex, (previously stayed in one bed). Having visited PDC several times over many years this is a complex we will return to again.

    Lovely helpful staff, great food, both breakfast and evening meal, plenty of choice. Facilities are fabulous for the money paid, free pool towels, choice of two big pools, slightly heated which just about takes the edge off the cold. Upstairs apartments a little more private with a nice terrace. Location in between Puerto del carmen and Los picolos/matagorda, so best of both worlds. Will definitely return.

    Without doubt the best hotel I have stayed in and I have been going to Lanzarote for over 30years This adult only boutique hotel is all you could ask for and more will definitely be returning and now is the only hotel for us absolutely super from start to finish
