We loved this hotel. We did not stay in the main building with the jacuzzis but in the old stone house in the village which was more in line with our tastes. Upon arrival we learned that the restaurant would be closed that evening so we opted to immediately sit done to a nice lunch. The food was some of the best we've had in Spain and the service perfect. The owner gave us plently of tips on how to spend the few hours we had in the area and we used them well driving through the beautiful country roads and visting several Bodegas. It is definately an area and a hotel that we shall come back to.

The location is ideal - only 1 hour drive from Barcelona and in a very quiet area between two mountains. It was equally peaceful and beautiful - we loved looking over the grape vines while drinking wine. The property was gorgeous, simple classy style and very well kept. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The staff was so accommodating and friendly - everyone seems genuinely happy and proud to work there. We did a vineyard tour and learned about the various wines they make in Penedes - topped off with some wine tasting and food pairings. We could've stayed longer! We would recommend this accommodation to absolutely anyone, especially if you are looking for a countryside get-a-way. You won't go wrong by booking Casa Gran!

The whole experience was great. Warm welcome, clean, beautifully desighned comfortable rooms, outstanding vegetarian food. Horses and friendly donkeys were a nice company for our children while we could enjoy conversation with Luc and Narda. Plently on space to run around, wonderful views and the feeling of remote exquisity with no need to entartain children with some loud animation, just nature and comfort - just what we were looking for in this vacation! Thank you so much, guys!

The house I beautiful and very clean and so well equipped it was no problem to cook for over 10 people because they had everything. They even left us little treats like a bottle of wine / bread etc. they really had it all. We had a wonderful and really perfect stay. The beds were comfortable and we had more than enough space for everything.
