Charming rural hotel, feeling like at home. The hosts are absolutely lovely and provided us lot of good advice to visit surroundings. Room top clean, simple and comfortable. Exceptional breakfast with very good local food and home-made yummy cakes. We also had dinner which was excellent. Bar based on trust: note what you take and pay it next morning, loved it. I highly recommend this place if you want to enjoy the beautiful surroundings and local spirit in a simple authentic manner.

Great location overlooking the river estuary, castle, church and mountains. Excellent check in and departure. An asset to the hotel is Diego (Viego?) on the reception desk. He was an outstanding member of hotel staff during a tour consisting of 11 hotels. He was exceptional for his warm welcome, his helpful and friendly manner and general demeanour. The management of this hotel should make sure he is commended. He is a definite asset. Paid extra for a superior room, well worth it in terms of comfort and size.

Great Posada, nice breakfast, I got a diner served in the evening. Bit of a strange doors-opening system with the code, but that system even worked during the power-outage in Spain. Great outdoor-terrace - could dry there shirt and socks from the Camino within an hour.

The room was great! Very cozy, clean and comfortable. Especially the bathroom with the rainshower was amazing. We had dinner twice at a local restaurant that served Mexican food, delicious and very afordable. Loben is directly next to the river where you can do kayaking and other activities. Loben and the location is overall a very Nice place to have your vacation.
